Introduction
These terms and conditions govern the relationship between Vix Solutions Ltd T/A Lux Drives, hereafter referred to as “the Company” and the passengers and drivers engaging with our MiniCab services.

Booking and Confirmation:
- The Company agrees to provide private hire vehicle services to passengers upon request and subject to availability.
- Passengers must provide accurate information for booking, including pick-up location, destination, and any special requirements.
- The Company reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings at its discretion.

Fares and Payment:
- Fares will be calculated based on the distance travelled and time taken, in accordance with the rates set by the Company and approved by TfL.
- Passengers agree to pay the fare indicated at the end of the journey, including any additional charges for waiting time, tolls, or requested stops.
- Payment methods accepted by the Company may include credit/debit cards, or other electronic payment options.

Journey and Conduct:

- Passengers must behave in a respectful and non-disruptive manner during the journey, refraining from any conduct that may endanger the driver, other passengers, or the vehicle.
- Passengers are responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle or its contents due to their actions or negligence.

Safety and Accessibility:

- The Company is committed to providing safe and accessible transportation in compliance with the 1998 Act and TfL regulations.
- Passengers with disabilities or special requirements are encouraged to inform the Company at the time of booking to arrange suitable accommodations.

Cancellation and Refunds:

- Passengers may cancel bookings subject to the cancellation policy set by the Company, which may include cancellation fees or charges.
- In the event of cancellation by the Company due to unforeseen circumstances or non-compliance with regulations, passengers may be entitled to a refund of any prepaid fares.

Complaints and Disputes:

- Passengers are encouraged to report any complaints or issues regarding the service promptly to the Company’s customer service department.
- The Company will endeavor to resolve complaints and disputes in a fair and timely manner, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

- The Company shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to traffic conditions, road closures, or force majeure events.
- Passengers agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its employees, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from their use of the service.
- The Company holds appropriate insurance coverage for all passengers during their journey. However, passengers are responsible for their personal belongings and should take precautions to safeguard their belongings during transit.

- Passengers must provide accurate booking details including pick-up location, drop-off location, and any special requirements.
- – Payment for Mini-Cab services must be made in full at the time of booking or upon completion of the journey, as per the agreed-upon payment method.

Passenger Conduct:

- Passengers are expected to treat drivers with respect and refrain from any behavior that may compromise the safety or comfort of the driver or other passengers.
- The consumption of alcohol, illegal substances, or smoking is strictly prohibited in company vehicles.

Vehicle Maintenance:

- Drivers are responsible for ensuring that their vehicles are well-maintained, roadworthy, and comply with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
- Regular inspections and maintenance checks must be conducted on vehicles to ensure their safe operation.

Driver Conduct:

- Drivers must adhere to all traffic laws and regulations and drive in a safe and responsible manner at all times.
- Drivers are expected to treat passengers with respect and courtesy and provide assistance as necessary throughout the journey.

Customer Service:

- Drivers must maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service to passengers, including assisting with luggage and offering a comfortable and safe journey experience.

Safety and Security:

- Drivers must prioritize the safety and security of passengers, including following safety protocols in the event of an emergency and maintaining a clean and well-presented vehicle interior.

General Terms and Conditions

Changes to Terms and Conditions:

- The Company reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to passengers and drivers via our website or other appropriate channels.

Governing Law:

- These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Contractual Obligations:

- By agreeing to these terms and conditions, it is understood and agreed that in accordance with the 1998 Act and these Regulations, operator Vix Solutions Ltd shall enter into a contractual obligation as principal with the person or organisation making the private hire booking to provide the journey which is the subject of the booking. All such contractual obligation has to be consistent with the provisions outlined in the 1998 Act and these Regulations. The passengers and drivers agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Failure to comply with these terms may result in the termination of services and/or legal action.
